On 31 July 2026, to celebrate the release of ‘Renascent’ the new album by The Durutti Column, drummer Bruce Mitchell and band producer / multi-instrumentalist Keir Stewart are joined by Factory Records / The Durutti Column expert James Nice – plus myself – for a Q&A about the band’s history and the making of the new album at Rough Trade East, London.
I’ve been a huge fan of Vini Reilly since I first heard the Durutti Column on John Peel. The local Woolworths used to stock DC cassettes and I started collected them from there. Tickets for this event also include a physical copy of the album.
