The Top of the Pops “Story of…” programmes from 1991 onwards are currently on BBC2 and iPlayer. I was asked to contribute to several of them which is always a total thrill. Needless to say, I am very much the target audience for this sort of thing and always watch them. Top of the Pops was a music TV behemoth and, as behemoths tend to, it remains legendary.
